Feasibility Planning Environmental Assessment
Accuraco has project managed the upgrade of mechanical, electrical and fire systems at Citiport Business Park. This office and warehouse complex comprises a low-rise office building and 10 warehouse office units with showrooms.
We developed a detailed feasibility study and due diligence report. Best practice guidelines, including GPT’s sustainability criteria, indicated that upgrades and replacements were required for FIP, BMS and DX Chiller.
After we procured the consultants and contractors, we developed a detailed and thorough assessment with them of the site’s energy performance and requirements.
The scope of work included:
- Replacement of redundant chiller and boilers along with supporting controls and field devices
- Replacement of FIP and upgrade of field devices (speaker, detectors – smoke and thermal)
- Upgrade of existing building management system
- Commissioning and testing of plant
Particular attention was required for the gas meter installation which posed challenges due to technical and site issues. We managed this process with close collaboration of the energy provider, contractors and our client.
