Project Management

In preparation for the Centenary of ANZAC and World War I, we provided project management services to Major Projects Victoria for the $45 million redevelopment of the Shrine through the Galleries of Remembrance project.

The project involved the conversion of 1600 square meters of undercroft space into a permanent exhibition area, as well as the creation of a new Education Centre. This extension will house a new auditorium, entry courtyard, and increase visitor capacity and improve the retail space of the Shrine.

Following the base building works, The Shrine of Remembrance Trust directly engaged us to manage the exhibition fit out works. This comprised of curatorial research and design works, showcase display case fit out, object conservation and installation, exhibition graphics and extensive multimedia hardware, production and infrastructure.

The work focused on expanding the Shrine’s role as a place of commemoration and community learning for the long-term, with a strong focus on preserving the Shrine’s pre-eminence and memorial significance. We assisted Major Projects Victoria and the Shrine of Remembrance Trust to deliver the project by Remembrance Day 2014, ensuring the redevelopment was completed and ready for the Anzac centenary commemorations that were held in
